The Cowboys owner, president and general manager went on to tell a story about Bryant that occurred before the preseason game against San Francisco on Sunday. The two were having a conversation when Dez went on to ask Jones why he wanted to be here in a few months? “I want to be here for you,” said Bryant, “I want to win this Super Bowl for you.”

It’s not a secret the two have a very close relationship. What remains to be seen is if the Cowboys can reach the Super Bowl for the first time since 1995. If they do, you can bet that Dez Bryant had a lot to do with it.

The San Francisco 49ers will host Super Bowl 50 on February 7th.
