UPDATE 10.26, 2015: Police identified the man who robbed First Convenience Bank in Mesquite as Barry Gibson, 51. He was arrested Sunday and is currently in Federal Custody.

MESQUITE (CBSDFW.COM) – Police are looking for the man who robbed the First Convenience Bank inside a Kroger Grocery Store, in the 3600 block of Gus Thomasson Road this afternoon.

At 12:45 p.m. today a man approached the counter and passed the teller a note demanding money, according to bank employees. Once he had the money in hand, he left through the front door.

The suspect was seen leaving in an early 2000’s model Red Dodge Neon.

Crime Stoppers is offering up to $5000 for information that leads to the arrest and indictment for the felony offense.
