GARLAND (CBSDFW) – One person has died in an early morning house fire in Garland.

Just before 3:00 a.m. Tuesday flames erupted in a home on Meandering Way, a block of single-story homes near Pleasant Valley and East Buckingham.

Garland Fire Department spokesperson Merrill Ballanciere says a body was found inside the home.

The body has not been identified.
