DALLAS (CBSDFW) – Dallas Fire and Rescue responded to a report of a fire at Woodrow Wilson High School in Dallas on Tuesday morning, after smoke was seen on the second and third floors.
Upon their arrival, firefighters were able to locate a small fire on the 3rd floor in a bathroom closet. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
The students were evacuated and remained outside while crews worked to determine the cause of the fire. They are all safe and accounted for according to Dallas ISD.
The school district says they are allowing parents of Woodrow Wilson High School students to pick them up at “the horshoe.” Any students that remain will be at J.L. Long Middle School until the end of the day.
