The explosive Dunbar was on his way to his best season before he was lost for the year in October at New Orleans when he sustained  a torn ACL and partially torn MCL. Dunbar isn’t a full-time back, but in Sproles-like fashion, caught 21 passes for 215 yards in five games.

The Cowboys are searching for running back help themselves, with Dunbar still a candidate to return and names like Bilal Powell and Alfred Morris possibly in play.
