The surgery, which could require more than a month of rehab, means Parsons is out for the season.

Parsons was hurt a week ago against Golden State — the same team Dallas plays at tonight, along with an announcement that Dirk Nowitzki and Deron Williams will sit out the game.

Parsons ends the season — much of which was spent ramping up from last spring’s much more serious knee surgery – averaging 13.7 points and 4.7 rebounds per game.
