PLANO (CBSDFW.COM) – For the past 31 years, officer Arthur Parker has kept an eye on Clark High School in Plano.

Parker is not your ordinary school resource officer.

Parker chooses to use humor in order to diffuse certain situations.

This week, students surprised officer Parker by recognizing him as Officer of the Year during an assembly.
