DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) – A Dallas company is piggy backing on the transgender bathroom debate to drum up business, selling custom-printed urinal screens showing Lieutenant Governor Dan Patrick’s face for $8 a pop. The company also sells screens that say “Check box in yellow if you want Obama to get out of your bathroom.”
MVPee.com started about ten years ago, according to Managing Director Robert Weinberg, with a portrait of Osama Bin Laden.
“It’s everyone from ‘hey give me one of these, I want it for my restaurant or my man cave’ to companies that do business in those areas. We have law firms that are buying them to give to their clients,” said Weinberg.
Although one of the more fitting themes, the transgender public bathroom controversy led the company to make screens for all political opinions.
For example, they made urinal cakes with former U.S. representative Anthony Weiner’s face on them. The infamous sexter sent a link to a sexually explicit photograph of himself via his public Twitter account in 2011.
The company also tackles some serious issues, including alcohol abuse and sexual assault, for colleges to use in their restrooms.
