RED OAK (CBSDFW.COM) – Red Oak Police say they’ve arrested a suspect involved in a deadly hit-and-run nearly two weeks ago.

Chase E. Crary, 44, of Ferris, is charged in the “accident involving death” early Sunday morning on May 22.

Betsy Sue McLelland of Red Oak was killed.

Red Oak Police say they got a tip from a local citizen that led to Crary’s capture and arrest.

Crary is in the Ellis County Jail with bond set at $100,000.
