JUSTIN (CBS11) – Three people wearing masks broke into Northwest High School in Justin last weekend armed with cans of spray paint.

“It’s absolute nonsense to break into a building and deface a public school,” said Northwest High principal Jason Childress, who says the vandalism was caught on security cameras.

The main lobby on the east side of the school was hit the worst, but the tagging was spread out throughout the campus.

“Honestly it was just a lot of vulgarity,” said Philo Waters, a senior at the school.  “It was just disappointing and then I got on Twitter and everyone was so angry.”

Waters says students still don’t know if the break-in and tagging was part of a senior prank, but he says if it was, he’s not laughing

“I get senior pranks,” says Waters. “Sometimes they are funny but this was not funny to most people.”

The school has no idea who the suspects are at this point.  The principal says it’s hard to tell height, weight and ages of the masked vandals.

“I hope we catch you and I hope you are prosecuted to the full extent of the law,” said Childress.
