DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM)When shots rang out near baggage claim at Dallas Love Field Friday, some frightened people scrambled past security so everyone at the airport had to be rescreened.

An officer shot a man outside the airport during a domestic disturbance with the mother of his children, Dallas police say.

This led to a lot of chaos and massive crowds inside the airport.

Around 1:45 p.m. Dallas Love Field announced TSA Security checkpoints has reopened for all departing flights and people on those flights could expect to spend about three hours in line.

At 3:00 p.m. that wait was reduced to two hours.
