HURST (CBSDFW) – A Hurst man was sentenced this morning to 30 years in prison and 10 years of supervised release for possessing child pornography.

Randy Ray Wesson, 29, pleaded guilty, in February 2015 to one count of possession of child pornography and one count of receipt of child pornography.

According to Hurst police, Wesson had 17-year-old Ricardo Lugo posing as a sixth-grade student at Hurst Hills Elementary School. Lugo attended the school from August until his arrest in November.

Detectives say Wesson has admitted to abusing more than 100 children.

Authorities raided the home occupied by Wesson and Lugo last November, where they seized a large amount of evidence of child pornography and exploitation of children. Wesson told police that he possessed more than 42,000 images of child pornography.
