Two lanes of westbound North Loop 820 have been shutdown as crews work to get the smashed 18-whlleer off the highway and access damage to the bridge near Old Decatur Road.
The front of the trailer, which is attached to the cab, is smashed in the embankment between the eastbound and westbound lanes, while the back of the trailer is resting on the bridge guardrail.

A wrecker had been called to remove the 18-wheeler, but as of just before 2 p.m. that task hadn’t even began. The semi is owned by Texas Lone Star Materials, Inc.
