WAXAHACHIE (CBSDFW.COM) – According to police, Shooter’s Edge Gun Store in Waxahachie was burglarized and sustained structural damage after a stolen truck rammed into the store early Sunday morning.

Officials said the burglary happened at about 2:20 a.m.

The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives and FBI are assisting with the investigation.

The ATF said two stolen trucks were used in the burglary. One was a red Ford F250 and the other was a white Ford four-door pickup truck.

According to the ATF, seven males entered the store after using the red Ford F250 to break through the brick wall of the gun store.

The ATF said five of the suspects were unidentified.

The red Ford F250 was recovered by Waxahachie police according to the ATF.

According to officials, twelve handguns, three AR-style rifles, one AK-style rifle, and one shotgun were stolen. No money was taken.

The ATF has said it is offering a $5,000 reward for the recovery of the 17 stolen guns.
