In April of 2015, Oscar Figueroa of Carrollton was found guilty of coercion and enticement of a child, a federal crime.
At the time of the offense he was the principal of the Viridian Elementary School, which is in Arlington but part of the HEB school system.READ MORE: Damage, Flooding Seen Throughout North Texas During Sunday Storms
According to investigators, Figuerora had placed an ad in Craigslist looking for sex. He thought he had met a 16-year old boy….a teenager he planned to meet at the Stonebriar AMC Theater. It was a very-young-looking undercover officer who showed up.
When Figueroa went ahead with his scheme, he was busted.
