DENTON COUNTY (CBSDFW.COM) – A Denton County woman was sentenced to 35 years in prison Thursday after her fifth DWI conviction according to the Denton County Criminal District Attorney’s Office.
Earlier this week, jurors heard evidence that Jennifer Nalls’ blood alcohol concentration was 0.285 g/mL, more than 3 1/2 times the legal blood alcohol limit.
In the punishment phase, jurors learned this arrest was Nalls’ fifth DWI overall and that she had been to prison twice before for felony DWI.
The DA’s office says Nalls used a deadly weapon–her car–in committing her crime.
