DUNCANVILLE (KRLD) – The Duncanville Police Department is asking for the public’s help finding two robbery suspects.

The first incident occurred on Monday at a Quick Trip convenience store located at 102 East Camp Wisdom Road. Witnesses told police that a black male, 40-45 years of age, measuring 5’7”-6’, weighing approximately 220 lbs. and wearing a camouflage Ford hat, stole a tub of cigarettes from behind the counter.

When confronted by store employees the suspect told them to “back off” as he reached behind his back.

A second non-related incident took place on Tuesday at a Shell gas station at 602 South Clark Road, when a suspect threatened the clerk with a machete.

Authorities say the suspect, described as a black male, 17-23 years of age, measuring 5’6”-5’8” and weighing approximately 140 lbs, stole money from the register and a cartoon of cigarettes before fleeing the scene behind the business.

Anyone having any information concerning these offenses is asked to contact Detective Jeff Pollock with the Duncanville Police Department at 972-707-3831.
