FORT WORTH (CBSDFW.COM) -The mother of Tarrant County’s “Affluenza Teen” has now been released from house arrest, so she can get a job. And she already has one lined up as a bartender.
A judge granted Tonya Couch‘s request to release her from house arrest to find work and to look after her elderly parents.
Under the new rules, she must wear an ankle monitor and refrain from drug or alcohol consumption. However, the rules say nothing about working around alcohol — so, as reported by TMZ, Couch is working as a bartender at the Honky Tonk Woman, a biker bar in Azle.
Couch is facing charges of helping her son Ethan Couch skip the country in violation of his own probation for a 2013 drunk-driving crash that killed four people.
