MANSFIELD (CBSDFW.COM) – Police in Mansfield were locked in an early morning standoff with a suspect wanted for an alleged shooting in Arlington.

According to reports, Police surrounded the Sam’s Club on Hwy 157 at Debbie Lane in Mansfield early Wednesday monring where a suspect was believed to be hiding.

Police chased the man from Arlington to Mansfield after spotting a car matching the description of one involved in a shooting in Arlington earlier this morning.

The man bailed out of the car and ran into the loading dock of the Sam’s club where crews were working.

According to reports, police entered the building and did not find the suspect.
