WACO (CBSDFW.COM) –  Meredith Corporation, the Iowa-based publisher of Better Homes and Gardens is teaming up with the hosts of HGTV’s popular home-renovation show “Fixer Upper” to create a new quarterly lifestyle magazine.

The magazine will focus on entertaining, holiday and seasonal celebrations, gardening and outdoor living, family, food and healthy lifestyle.

Joanna and Chip Gaines are the owners of the extremely popular Magnolia brand which includes a real estate company, construction company, design firm and residential subdivision. They also operate the popular Magnolia Market retail outlet in Waco and an online store.

The new lifestyle magazine, The Magnolia Journal will launch in October 2016 with 400,000 copies at newsstand and checkouts nationwide. It will also be available online and at Magnolia Market in Waco.
