Arlington PD released the following statement today on their twitter account, “Take a bow everyone, we have our selfie suspects identified! Great work to spread the message by our social media audience, you’re the best!”

Police were able to get the duo’s photos out on social media because the selfies they took with the stolen phones went to the victim’s computer.

In a statement posted on their Facebook page Thursday, the Arlington Police Department said, “the face you make the moment before you realize (or don’t) the cell phones you just stole automatically sent those selfies to the victim’s computer.”

In one of the photos the male suspect appears to not know a picture is being taken of him. In another, the female suspect can be seen making a kissing face, while the male is on the phone (not known if it’s one of the other two stolen cell phones). The other photos are taken by the woman of just herself.
