DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) – Dallas police are searching for a person of interest in relation to a deadly shooting that occurred Sunday morning at the Regency Hotel on the 11000 block of LBJ Freeway.

Police say they seeking Derrick Hicks, who may have been present during the shooting.

According to police, 21-year-old Stephen Egana was shot by an unknown suspect at the hotel. He was transported to an area hospital where he died from his injuries.

Police are asking anyone that has information on Hicks’ whereabouts to call the Dallas Police Homicide Unit at 214.671.3661.
