DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) – Ongoing mold problems have forced the Dallas Independent School District to shut down Zumwalt Middle School.

Students will stay on campus until winter break then attend classes at Maceo Smith High School starting next semester.

Mold issues have plagued Zumwalt since at least February when it was found in three classrooms and an office.

The district plans to hold meetings at both campuses on Monday to talk to parents.
