Police had gone to the location to serve the kidnapping arrest warrant when the man locked himself inside an apartment with a child believed to be a toddler. After surrounding the complex police eventually took the suspect into custody and found the child unharmed.

It isn’t known if the child was related to the suspect or how the youngster got inside the apartment, but officials confirmed the child had no connection to the original kidnapping.
