Dallas Police chased the suspects of carjacking down Marsalis and through an intersection at Ann Arbor where they ran a red light and crashed into two vans.

Four of five the suspects are in custody.

Authorities say at least one of them had to be removed from the car after being trapped in the wreck.

One of the vans was a DART transport van.

The other is a Caliber patient transport van.

DART said its van wasn’t carrying an passengers and the driver was okay.

CBS11 has yet to hear back from Caliber.

Witnesses told CBS11 the high speed collision sent the car flipping into the air.

“He went up and did a 360 landing,” said a man named George.

“The driver, he got out and started running,” said another witness named, Julian.  “And the cops that were following started pointing guns at the car.”
