WISE COUNTY, Texas (CBS11) – A 20+ acre grass fire was out of control Wednesday afternoon in Wise County.

It started south of Boyd on County Road 4791 near Farm Road 2048 around 4:00 p.m.

It consumed lots of brush and trees but not spread to any homes or businesses.

Wind has been gusting at 30 to 40 miles per hour today.

Multiple fire departments responded to the fire.
