DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) – A Dallas Police officer was arrested by Rowlett Police for driving while  intoxicated on Tuesday, September 11.

Officer Ashley Parmley, 33, is on administrative leave pending an internal affairs investigation, according to Dallas Police.

Rowlett Police officers responded to the 4600 Lakeview Parkway after getting a call about a possibly intoxicated driver.

Officers searched the area and found a vehicle that matched the description of the intoxicated driver stopped in the parking lot of a business at 4300 Miller Road.

Rowlett Police officers contacted the driver and found her showing signs of intoxication.  

 Parmley was processed into the Rowlett City Jail for investigation of driving while intoxicated and resisting arrest. 

Officer Parmley has been with the Dallas Police Department since June 2015 and is assigned to the North Central Patrol Division.
