BEDFORD, Texas (CBSDFW.COM) – A Bedford man was arrested for allegedly trying to find and hire someone to kill his wife.

Thomas Salinas, Junior is charged with solicitation for capital murder.

He was arrested at his home on Saturday, October 27.

According to the arrest affidavit, Salinas offered a friend $30,000 to lace cocaine he could give to his wife so she could overdose.

The friend went to police, telling them Salinas was worried his wife was spending all of his money and wanted a divorce.
