ARLINGTON, Texas (CBSDFW.COM) – Dallas Cowboys linebacker Leighton Vander Esch left Sunday night’s game against the Eagles with a neck injury.

Vander Esch suffered the injury in the second quarter of the NFC East matchup after making a tackle on Eagles tight end Dallas Goedert. He remained down on the field for several minutes.

He eventually walked off on his own and into a blue tent on the Cowboys sideline.

He was first ruled questionable but was officially ruled out for the rest of the game in the third quarter.
