BALCH SPRINGS, Texas (CBSDFW.COM) – Someone drove a car into an apartment swimming pool and then got arrested.

Balch Springs Police said a good Samaritan asked the driver if he was okay, and the driver ended up pointing a gun at the good Samaritan.

Officers arrived at the scene at the Spring Oaks Apartments on Shepherd Lane to find the car and no driver.

They ended up finding him about a half a mile away from the accident.

Police recovered a gun along with narcotics.
