DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) – Dallas County has recorded its first human case of the West Nile Virus for 2020.
It’s yet another serious virus that North Texans have to guard themselves against.
The disease is spread by mosquitos and is potentially deadly for those with compromised immune systems.
No information has been released about the person infected or their condition.
But a source told CBS 11 News that the infected person lives in the 75205 zip code, which covers Highland Park.
