MESQUITE, Texas (CBSDFW.COM) – Police in Mesquite responded to a “large fight disturbance” where shots were fired at an AMC theater Saturday evening.

Police said the incident happened outside the theater at Gross Road and Peachtree Road.

According to police, one person fired shots into the air during the disturbance, but no one was hit. No injuries were reported from the incident.

At least two people were arrested in the area for fighting, police said.

        It’s called Journalistic Integrity. This story could be replaced with ‘something happened somewhere’ and be just as informative. Who, What, Where, Why and How are almost non existent.

        As I said, go right ahead and do a report if you think you could do it better. Several of us were discussing the incident on Mesquite’s Facebook Scanner while it was happening, and there really wasn’t much detail being released by the MPD. This story could very well have been written while it was in progress.
