The Green Party wins a partial victory at the Texas Supreme Court. A stay is issued of a lower court ruling blocking Green Party candidates from getting on the November ballot, meaning they can be put on for now. The high court wants to hear arguments in the case later this month and could also make a final ruling at that time which could change the Green’s ballot status. Last week a District Court ruled that an illegal contribution was used to get the parties petitions signatures collected that enabled them to get on the ballot. The party says it didn’t do anything wrong.
