The Irish discount airline that came up with the concept of pay toilets on flights has done it again.
The CEO of Ryan Air Michael O’Leary says he thinks that passengers would want to fly while standing. So the airline wants to introduce “standing-room only” flights, with passengers strapped into vertical seats.
The “seats” would sell at a discount of about six dollars each. A spokesman for the European Aviation Safety says it’s unlikely that they would certify that any time soon.
