Duncanville High School’s basketball team is stunned after hearing about a team-mate’s death in Oklahoma over the weekend. Junior point guard Deion Jackson-Houston was killed when his car was struck by a train in Duncan, Oklahoma on Saturday. His family says he knew the area well because it was just a few minutes away from his grandmother’s home where he visited every summer. The train operator saw Deion’s car slow down and then pull across the tracks just as the train arrived at the crossing. It was rainy at the time but investigators have not determined whether that had anything to do with the accident.
