A Green Ballot After All

It looks like the Green Party will stay on the November Ballot.  Texas Democrats are asking the Supreme Court to drop the writ that could keep the Green Party off the November Ballot.  “That would mean that the Green Party candidates could stay on the ballot but we will continue efforts to determine the GOP funding source for the petitions.”  Democratic Party Spokeswoman Kirsten Gray says that will allow attorney’s to prepare for a trial on that larger question of who paid an out of state company to run the petition drive that got the Green Party qualified for the ballot in the first place.  A trial on that question is set to begin in January.
