Texas could be facing a severe water shortage in the next 40 years. The Natural Resources Defense Council says that by the year 20-50, demands for water will far surpass the supply in a third of the states in the U-S. The Council says Texas is at extreme risk, along with 7 other states. They blame the shortages on growing population to the changes in climate patterns.
