Texas Water Shortage

Texas could be facing a severe water shortage in the next 40 years.  The Natural Resources Defense Council says that by the year 20-50, demands for water will far surpass the supply in a third of the states in the U-S.   The Council says Texas is at extreme risk, along with 7 other states.   They blame the shortages on growing population to the changes in climate patterns.

    Simple fix…
Dredge the area lakes deeper, they will fill up during the rainy season, increasing our water supply.

It would seem that to take care of something like a water shortages you could build a pipeline which could carry water across the united states to the states which need it the most during a drought problem solved
