It’s called Dead Man’s Curve but the problem on Highway 175 in Dallas may be in for a solution.
Dead Man’s curve is where 175 takes a hard turn and undergoes a name change, too from the S.M. Wright Freeway to C.F. Hawn.
North Texas officials are now considering a plan to put some money into fixing the Dead Man’s Curve and the cash would come from the Trinity River toll road project. The North Central Texas Council of Governments is for it but won’t say how much of the $240 million dollars for the toll road would be affected. A decision by the Regional Transportation Council’s expected within 90 days.
