Another mail delivery involving a bio-terrorism hoax. It’s the 14th powder-filled envelope to be recieved in North Texas this time at St. Stephen’s Anglican Catholic Church in Richardson.
Reverend Jay Matthews says it looked like a standard business mailing and both addresses on the envelope appeared to be computer-generated. Matthews says there was a sheet of paper inside—but wouldn’t say if there was a message.
U.S. Postal Inspector Amanda McMurrey says it’s too early to say whether the 14 incidents are connected. The targets of the mailings have included houses of worship, high-tech companies and Dallas Love Field.
