TxDot says that they can’t maintain roads and build new ones because their motor fuel tax is drying up. Should they raise gas taxes, increase tolls, bonds, or start a vehicle mileage tax?
Last a week an employee at a beer distribution warehouse in Connecticut killed himself and several of his co-workers. Was the shooter a victim of racism and discrimination at work? Many of his friends say he was. We need to recognize racism in the workplace and take complaints seriously to avoid tragedies like these in the future.
The Dallas Morning News has reported that 1.5 million illegal immigrants are living in Texas and 60,000 babies of non-citizens have been born and received U.S. birthrights. Should we change the 14th amendment? Taking away birthright citizenship is only one piece of the puzzle to immigration reform.
