The Defense Department says two more Texans in the military have died in Afghanistan.
The Defense Department says 19-year-old Pfc. John E. Andrade of San Antonio died Saturday in Kandahar, Afghanistan, of wounds suffered in a bombing blamed on insurgents.
Andrade was assigned to the 3rd Squadron, 2nd Stryker Cavalry Regiment, at Vilseck, Germany.
DOD on Thursday announced the death of a 30-year-old Marine from south Texas.
Sgt. Jose L. Saenz III of Pleasanton died Monday while supporting combat operations in Helmand province of Afghanistan. Further details were not immediately released by the Pentagon.
Saenz was assigned to 1st Battalion, 11th Marine Regiment, 1st Marine Division, I Marine Expeditionary Force, Camp Pendleton, Calif.
