Police say a two-year-old girl died after she was accidentally left behind in the family’s car.  Apparently Jason Adams had five children with him, four of his own and a niece, when he pulled into his driveway Thursday around 2:30pm.  Everyone went inside, but Connor Adams was forgotten.  A few hours later, as the kids got ready for soccer practice, Adams realized Conner was missing.  He found her dead inside the car.
Police say Conner was not in her child car seat, indicating she may have tried to free herself.  They also say the temperature inside the car was 130 degrees, and that it was likely much hotter hours earlier when the child was forgotten.

An investigation into the case continues.
