"Bones"

A heart-wrenching story about a dog who was literally thrown out like trash along the side of the road in Fort Worth.KRLD’s Phyllis Smith reports. Kathy Radovich discovered the pit bull in a bag covered in fire ants, and initially thought he was dead. Then her son looked closer and saw it was fighting to get out of the bag.
Luckily for the dog, Kathy was a nurse at a local pet hospital. CBS 11 spoke with the hospital’s Veterinarian, Dr. Tim Morton. He says this was a case of outright abuse. Morton said he was in a place where he couldn’t get to food, and that all he was eating was leaves and limbs. When the pit bull was brought in last Monday he weighed half of what he should weigh…so the hospital gave him a name..Bones… and he’s looking for a loving owner. This is sub-human. I hope that “Bones” recovers and gets well.
