A new computer program may convince some north Texas commuters to leave their cars in the their driveway.  The North Texas Council of Governments has linked three major transit agencies and thousands of car poolers with tryparkingit.com.
Sonya Jackson says it’s North Texas’ first such ride-matching program.  Commuters can create an account, track their cost savings and connect with mass transit or car poolers.  The service is free. To check it out, click here.
