In Case You Missed It… Monday, August 23rd

Here’s what you missed Monday on the Jay Mcfarland show.

It’s the first day of school for many districts. Find out how Jay is feeling about sending his kids off this morning.

Where does happiness come from as opposed to where we think it comes from? Work, family, friends? People seem to be slipping into “the minimum expectations mode” – doing the bare minimum to survive and remain employed. How is this contributing to the happiness of the American public?

Where is personal accountability in relation to the Operation: Return to Greatness? Much of the recession was caused by selfishness and the search for happiness – living outside our means, buying houses we can’t afford, and wanting things that we think will bring us happiness. Jay thinks that PROGRESS will help bring us this happiness, but that’s only the first step.

One of the quickest ways to find happiness in your own circumstance is to help other people. Jay takes more of your calls on how we find happiness in our lives.

While driving from Oklahoma to McKinney this morning, I heard non-partisian comments re the American Dream of drive, ambition and defying the odds to the rise of Obama to the presidency. I only heard it briefly on KRLD between 10:30 and noon. I would love to have the script of the comments. Please advise if you are aware of the show and particulars for contact. Thank you.
