Thieves Target SUV Seats
Not even your seats are safe from thieves anymore. The suggestion is being made that SUV drivers take their third row seats out at night because thieves are again targeting them. Scott McKinney found that out last week when he found the back window of his Tahoe shattered in the driveway of his home in the Kessler Park area of Dallas. Similar crimes have been reported in months past in other areas because the thieves know that GM doesn’t make replacement seats for sale. As result, the stolen seats often show up on sites like eBay as McKinney found out in a web search. McKinney says he may end up paying hundreds of dollars to buy back his third row seat. Police are still looking for the thieves.
