Here’s what you missed Wednesday on the Jay Mcfarland show.
What can we do to help make parents more aware of leaving their children in cars on hot Texas summer days? According to the Dallasnews.com Crime Blog, a mother arrested this week after leaving her child in the car while she went into the Texas Workforce Commission says she doesn’t understand what the big deal is. Jay takes your calls and suggestions.
Synthetic marijuana, also known as “K2”, has been banned in local cities. Why are we banning it? Should we be taking away people’s rights or freedoms to go out and get high or drunk? We are spending time, effort, and our tax dollars to outlaw freedoms that should be allowed. Is it the proper role of government to tell us what we can and can not put into our bodies?
In the last hour, Jay talked about Rick Perry and reporters asking him why he won’t debate with Bill White. Perry says he doesn’t legally have to debate him, and claims that until White releases financial documents he won’t debate him. Jay claims it is a political decision based on fear and owes it to the public to bring them a debate.
