A Haltom City father is now facing capital murder charges in the death of his baby daughter who died at Cook Children’s Hospital on Monday.  Doctors who tried to save her life told police her fatal injuries were no accident.  Alfonso Contreras and the baby’s mother Ashley Massey were arrested that night.  Massey is charged with causing an injury to a child.  They had their first court appearance yesterday and they remain in the Haltom City jail this morning.
