Pink Fire Trucks In Cowtown

A couple of Fort Worth fire trucks may cause heads to turn.    To help raise awareness of breast cancer, two Fort Worth fire trucks are painted pink.  Mayor MIke Moncrief stood outside Baylor All Saints Hospital to unveil the pink trucks.  Also lending support for the “Cares Enough to Wear Pink” campaign, was firefighter Mark Puente, who was critically injured in a July car wreck, broadsided by a stolen car.
He says he’s motivated by an aunt who is a breast cancer survivor. Firefighters will be selling pink t-shirts to raise money  for the Joan Katz Breast Cancer endowment fund.

My daughter and grandkids live in Fort Worth, saw a truck this afternoon and put it on Facebook. Every city should do the same thing all over America in different colors for different causes…especially this cause!! Edmond, OK
