A big Saturday for college football’s Iron Man Owen Marecic of Stanford University saw the a starter on both offense and defense.
He scored a touchdown on both sides of the ball, just 13 seconds apart. It happened Saturday in South Bend against Notre Dame. As the starting fullback Marecic scored on a one yard run and then on Notre Dame’s first play from scrimmage after the kickoff as starting linebacker he intercepted a pass and ran it in. It’s believed that this is the fastest that anyone has ever pulled off the feat.
